Biography Elisha Ann Cuthbert was born on November 30, 1982 in Calgary, Canada.
Elisha moved to Los Angeles when she was seventeen in order to pursue an acting career. Featured roles as a reluctant pilot in "Airspeed" (1998) and "Time at the Top" (1999) were soon to follow, and by the time Elisha joined the cast of Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark?".
Her role in "Lucky Girl" (2001) only furthered Elisha's reputation as a dramatically capable starlet, and her convincing performance soon caught the eyes of producers who were preparing a new thriller series for FOX. Cast as Jack Bauer's daughter, Kimberly, in the breakout hit "24", Elisha's character suffered through multiple kidnappings and a mountain lion attack over the course of the series' first two seasons. In the episode of "24" in which Elisha shared a scene with the mountain lion, she made news when the beast attacked her on the film set, sending her on a trip to the hospital with an injured hand.
Elisha then took a supporting role in the comedy "Old School" (2003) before appearing in the romantic comedies "Love Actually" (2003) and "The Girl Next Door" (2004), the latter of which found Elisha Cuthbert taking the lead as an ex-porn star who becomes the object of affection to a lonely suburban boy.
Elisha Cuthbert was ranked #5 in FHM 100 Sexiest Women 2005.
